Jamie Marsden
Chairman - Golf Classic Lead
Jamie is one of the original founding members of the Making Life Better Charity since its inception in 2004. He is currently working as a principal Engineer for Woodside Energy. He originates from England moving to Perth in 1994 where he has remained with wife Pam, Son Alex and daughter Georgina. Serving in several church ministries since joining PCLC in 2000, including Alpha and men focused groups, his current focus is the growth of the MLB influence in making a difference in our communities.

Joseph Ling
Secretary - Digital Enablement Lead
Joseph Ling carries the passion to impact the marketplace with the compassion of Christ. He is a prominent member of the agribusiness industry in WA and is the Chair of the State Government’s Agriculture Produce Commission(APC-CSC). Joseph has been in business for 29 years and is now Managing Director of AGRIFresh, leading his team in international trade, vision setting, strategic direction, and execution priorities. He is married to Hannah and has 2 sons, and worships and serves in Kingdom City. He has been part of MLB since 2005 and looks forward to supporting MLB in various capacities.

David Mokowa
Treasurer
David is a Chartered Accountant (a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), and runs a Business Advisory, Tax and Audit Services Business. He has broad experience in a wide range of Audits from small and medium (non-profit and profit making enterprises) to listed entities. He is married to Elizabeth and they have 3 daughters. He has been part of MLB since 2016 and looks forward to supporting MLB going forward. He has the heart to reach out in the community.

Charles Waller
Advisor
Charles Waller now retired was previously a Financial Controller of a large group of companies. Have been involved in MLB since its inception, assisting Jamie Marsden in planning and providing strategic advice. Was previously at PCLC for 23 years as an Elder and Board member and for 3 years the Executive Pastor. Have heart to reach the underprivileged in the community. Married 46years 4 daughters and 6 grandchildren.

Jono Hansen
Committee Member - Partner Liaison
Jono is deeply committed to community service. With a passion for uniting industries to create meaningful impact, Jono's dedication shines in every partnership he fosters. Beyond his professional role, Jono is an avid car enthusiast and off-road racing lover, embodying a spirit of adventure and determination. His ability to connect with others and drive collaborative efforts makes him a key asset in the charity’s mission to make a difference.

Lara Marmion
Committee Member - Event Manager
Lara has an MBA from RMIT and works as the Business Administration Manager for AME Offshore Solutions. After attending the MLB charity events through AME, who have been sponsors for many years, Lara was privileged to be asked to join the planning committee. Lara is passionate about contributing to her community and finds immense satisfaction in doing so. In 2023, she marks her remarkable 10th year attending the MLB Golf Classic and her third year actively engaged in the committee and management of the MLB event.

Jon Beevers
Committee Member - Compliance, MLB Day Lead
Jon is genuinely excited to have joined the committee of the Making Life Better Charity in January 2026. In his full-time role as a General Manager, he is responsible for leading teams, overseeing operations, and driving positive outcomes. Joining the committee will allow him to apply his professional experience in a meaningful way beyond his day-to-day work. He is passionate about collaboration and continuous improvement and hopes to contribute fresh ideas that help strengthen the charity’s programs and long-term impact. Giving back to the community is something he cares about and is looking forward to working closely with the committee to support the charity’s mission and help create positive, lasting change in people’s lives.

Steve Goliger
Committee Member - Beneficiaries/Giveaway Lead
Steve has been involved with the MLB since 2005. Born again in 2002, worshipped and served at PCLC/LCC in various ministries. Became an active member of the Men’s team in 2008. Arrived in WA from England in 1989 with his wife Gaynor. They have a daughter Kirsten who is married to Anthony and they have two children Samuel and Abby. Will continue to serve and bless our community and shine His light into their lives
